Managed Wallet

The managed wallet supports PolyEdge’s automated trading capabilities, including copy trading, Agent execution, and parts of the Polymarket funding flow. Its goal is to reduce repeated manual signing and complex approval burden for users.

Wallet Roles

RoleDescription
User walletThe main wallet connected to PolyEdge, responsible for login, authorization, deposits, and withdrawal confirmation
Managed EOAAn execution wallet created by PolyEdge for the user, used for automated operations within the supported platform scope
Polymarket Deposit WalletA Polymarket trading-related wallet or contract account used to hold order collateral and positions

Creation Flow

  1. Connect your own wallet.
  2. Read the managed-wallet risk notes.
  3. Sign the creation authorization.
  4. Complete passkey or related authentication as prompted.
  5. The system prepares the trading account and required approvals.
  6. After the user deposits funds, the wallet can be used for supported trading and copy-trading flows.

Fund Path

When depositing or withdrawing, always confirm the asset, address, and network. Based on local product notes, USDC.e may first enter the managed EOA, then be processed by the system into collateral usable on Polymarket and transferred into the Deposit Wallet.

Security Notes

  • PolyEdge should never ask for the private key or seed phrase of your own wallet.
  • Any signature request should come from the correct domain and clearly state the operation.
  • Passkeys, recovery methods, and device synchronization need to be managed carefully.
  • If you do not understand what a managed wallet means, live copy trading is not recommended.

Suitable Scenarios

Managed wallets are suitable for scenarios that require automated execution, such as:

  • Following a specified smart-money address.
  • Letting an AI Agent execute according to rules.
  • Reducing high-frequency manual signing.
  • Managing Polymarket trading flows in one place.

If you only want to browse markets or analyze manually, you usually do not need to create a managed wallet immediately.
